Lunch and Learn – Powwow @ Northern LIghts College Dawson Creek Campus
Jun 7 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
Lunch and Learn - Powwow @ Northern LIghts College Dawson Creek Campus | Dawson Creek | British Columbia | Canada

Spirit of the Peace Pow Wow is this being hosted this weekend in Taylor.

What is a Pow Wow?  What are the dances about?  What’s an Intertribal?  What’s a Grand Entry?

We are excited to have Connie Greyeyes come share information and answer questions about the Pow Wow for a Lunch N Learn this week.  The Aboriginal Education Department will provide a light lunch.

Dawson Creek campus –  Wednesday June 7th @ 12 noon, Gathering Space

Fort St John campus – Thursday June 8th at 12 noon, Room 202

Attached is the poster for this year’s Pow Wow and a newsletter from last years Pow Wow that will provide some background information.

Letting me know if you are interested in attending would be helpful so I can ensure we will have enough refreshments.
